What’s coming up? The junction of Merchants Quay was reopened on Friday 21 January. Unfortunately, we said the junction of Ordsall Lane and Trafford Road would be reopen at the end of January. Due to drainage repair works that we were not expecting this will now be open at the end of February. All other traffic management will remain the same. There will be pedestrian footway closures from the junction at The Quays to opposite Phoebe Street, along the northbound carriageway. These will be placed out over the next two weeks and be in place until July. Pedestrian access will be on the opposite footway.
From Monday 31 January 2022
Resurfacing
The resurfacing from the Iron Bridge to the junction of The Quays is due to start early April. Further details to follow within the next month.
