News on Trafford Road

Thank you for your continued patience while we complete the resurfacing work on Trafford Road between the Trafford Road Bridge and The Quays.

We are writing to inform you of an extra overnight closure on Wednesday 27 April. Old rail tracks, probably from the days of the docks, have been discovered which has slowed down our contractors’ progress; they will need to return to the spot to carry out additional work.

The additional closure will be on the northbound side of Trafford Road (heading towards the M602) between the White City Roundabout and The Quays from 7pm Wednesday 27 April to 6am Thursday 28 April.
