We have realised that the pedestrian diversion may be too long for some people and have looked at an alternative solution. Therefore, from Monday 7 March 2022

  • There will be pedestrian footway closures from The Quays to opposite Broadway, along the southbound side of the carriageway. Some of these have been placed out from week commencing 28 February. The rest will be placed out from Monday 7 March.
  • Pedestrian access will be via the diversion routes shown on the drawings below. The green line shows the diversion routes, (if you would like larger maps please email traffordroadcomms@salford.gov.uk).
  • The pedestrian footway northbound is still closed, all access will be via the diversion route
  • Diversion route is via:

  • OR via:
