News Update - 14 March 2022

What’s coming up?

Due to unexpected events outside of our control we were not able to complete the works at the Orsdall Lane and Trafford Road junction as originally planned. We are doing our best to now complete these works as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the closure at this junction will remain in place for another three weeks until 4 April 2022. We apologise for the delays in this area and any inconvenience caused.

From Tuesday 15 March 2022

The left turn from The Quays onto Trafford Road will be closed to complete work on the footpath in this area

Access onto Trafford Road northbound (towards M602 roundabout) will be via Broadway

This will be in place for approximately one month

The right turn from the Quays onto Trafford Road southbound (towards the Iron Bridge) will remain open

Resurfacing starts in April

The resurfacing from the Iron Bridge to the junction of The Quays is due to start early April

Communications will be sent out next week with full information and to invite you to some virtual meetings to talk to the team
